To help those members who are new to the Club and competitive swimming we have produced a guide called the "Eaglehawk Swim Meet Handbook". Click on the link to download a copy and keep it handy as you prepare to compete. In the sidebar on the left is a link to download a copy of Swimming Victoria's official Swim Meet Entry Form. You need to complete one of these for each Swim Meet you wish to enter. Save a copy of this form on your computer so that you can use it over and over again. Simply type in the details as described in the "Eaglehawk Swim Meet Handbook" and then print a copy off for submission to the Club. Completed Entry Forms (with payment) may be submitted to the Club by two weeks prior to the closing date nominated on the Swim Meet flyer or by the nominated closing date to the host Club. Please ensure that your Entry Forms are accurate, timely and complete. Of course, copies of blank SV Entry Forms are always available at the Club. Electronic entries To ease the burden on the administrators of all Clubs our Club accepts (indeed, encourages) entries for our Swim Meets in the Team Manager format. For bulk entries submitted by a Club, a 5% discount will apply to the total entry fee. Club Race Secretaries - if you submit entries in the Team Manager format please ensure that a Summary Sheet and full payment is received at the Club by the nominated closing date. A copy of Team Manager Lite can be downloaded and used for FREE from the Hy-Tek Ltd website. This version of the program is specifically designed to help administrators do their job better with less effort. Please email your completed Team Manager file to: swimmeet@eaglehawkswimmingclub.org.au. SV Country Short Course Championships Saturday 14th - Sunday 15th August, Shepparton. Once again the SV Country Short Course Championships will be held in Shepparton. Last year's event proved to be a very successful week-end for the Club, finishing as the 6th best Victorian Club and 7th overall. Since last August many of our young swimmers have achieved qualifying times for this important Championship event. Are you one of them? Click on the link in the sidebar on the left to find out your best times since 1st January 2009. The age displayed is your age as at 14th August 2010. Now is the time to start planning and preparing for this Meet. Check the SV Country Short Course Qualifying Times in the sidebar on the left to see what other times you may be able to achieve in the lead up to the Championships. Swim Meets All members are encouraged to take every opportunity to represent the Club at Swim Meets throughout the season. Here is a list of Swim Meets being held in and around Central Victoria and some in Melbourne. Keep an eye on this page as it will be updated with new information as it comes in.
