Membership

Every member will receive a Membership Card for the current season  

Online registration is now available through the Swimming Victoria Member Portal. Instructions on how to use this new service can be found below.

The Registration abd Membership fees cover ESC Membership, Swimming Victoria Registration and Insurance from 1^st May to 30^th April each season. Swimmers must re-register each year. Each swimmer will have a unique Registration number made up of the first 3 letters of the last name, the first two letters of the first name and the birth date. e.g.: Emily Smith born on 26/10/92 will be registered as SMIEM261092. This is a universal registration standard. Your registration number must be included on every Swim Meet Entry Card.

If you are interested in joining the club and one of the squads at Eaglehawk please call Greg on 0419-517-464 to arrange a time to come down to the Club for a swim. Our coaches will be able to determine the best squad for you to join.

 The Registration Fee must be paid within two weeks of the swimmer’s first session with the Club.

The fee structure for Season 2010-11 is detailed below. Please visit the Squads page for further details about our training squads.

 A 10% discount on the total Term Fee is available to families with two swimmers and a 20% discount for families with 3 or more swimmers. For families with 4 swimmers, the 4th (and youngest) swimmer can train for free!!!

To accommodate members who may wish to avail themselves of our coaching service on an ad-hoc basis, a sessional training rate is available. This rate is $10.00 per training session. It is payable by means of a deposit in the Clubroom letter-box prior to the commencement of training.

If you might be having trouble meeting these dates please do not hesitate to contact the Treasurer to make some alternative arrangements.

Fees do not cover entry to the Bendigo Leisure Centre. Ask at the YMCA reception desk for details about becoming a member of the YMCA Bendigo Leisure Centre. It may prove to be the most effective way to cover the costs of pool entry.

Annual registration can now be done ONLINE through the Swimming Victoria Member Portal.  Following are some instructions to guide you through the process.

HOW TO JOIN AS A NEW MEMBER

This is for new swimmers who have not been a member of any swimming club before.

HOW TO RE-REGISTER IF YOU WERE A MEMBER LAST SEASON

This is for swimmers who were members of the Club last season.

1. Go to Swimming Victoria Member Portal
2. Click on the ‘Log In’ tab at the top left hand of the navigation bar.
3. Insert your:-
1. Username:       …. your unique SV Registration ID - the one you use when completing a Swim Meet Entry Form.
2. Password:        …. your firstname followed by the first letter of your surname.
4. Click ‘Log In’
5. Click on the ‘Registration Renewal’ tab (3rd from the left at the top of the page)
6. Click on the circle button for the membership category you would like to join, then click “Next >>” at the bottom of the page.  The information for each Membership category is available on this page.
7. Read the ‘Conditions of being A Member of Swimming Victoria and Associated club’ and then if you agree with them tick the ’I have read, understood, acknowledge and agree to the above declarations’. 
8. You may be asked to supply a ‘Guardian Approval name’ at this point.  Please type your name into the box and click “Next >>” at the bottom of the page.
9. Complete all your personal information.  We recommend you change your username and password at this stage, if you haven’t already.  Also ensure your email address is current and the correct emergency contacts and phone numbers are included.  Click “Next >>” at the bottom of the page.
10. You now have a choice to ‘Submit Application Only’ or to ‘Submit Application & Pay Online’.  All ESC members should choose ‘Submit Application & Pay Online’. 
1. ‘Submit Application & Pay Online’ – submit your Credit Card Type, Card Number, Card Holders Name and Expiry Date.  Check the ‘Total To Be Charged To Card:’ amount is correct, then click  “Next >>”.  Once this is done, click on ‘Submit Payment’.  A page will come up with ‘The transaction has been approved’.  If you would like a receipt, click on ‘Print Receipt’.  You are now registered.
2. If you choose ‘Submit Application Only’, you then click on the ‘Submit Application’ button.  Click on ‘Print Invoice’ and print your invoice off.  Attach a cheque payable to ‘Eaglehawk Swimming Club’ to your invoice and post it to: The Treasurer, Eaglehawk Swimming Club Inc.. PO Box 71, Eaglehawk, 3556.

TRANSFERRING FROM ANOTHER CLUB
Swimmers who wish to transfer from another club to Eaglehawk can do so.  Your initial step is to email the Club Secretary or phone 0419-517-464.  The Club will put in a request to your previous club for them to release you and then we can proceed with the membership as per the steps above.  This process may take a few days to complete and clubs will only release a swimmer if the swimmer has no outstanding financial debts with their previous club.  There is no cost for a transfer if the transfer is completed between seasons however there is a cost for transfers if they are done within a swimming season.
